Ame Ranin
Undead Demonic Hound
Name: Ame Ranin
Alias: The Wanderer Ranin
Gender: Male
Age: Well over 400
Species: Demonic Wolf
Height: 4'6"
Weight: over 150
Personality: Unstable in emotion, often swings from content to yearning, sad to angry, loving to hateful. He's most often known as a murderer with a short fuse, and sometimes also a sly trickster. Being over four centuries old, he's often eccentric. That's one step away from insane, but whether one step past it or one step before that varies. Ame has a high sense of right and wrong; He doesn't kill pups, and tries not to kill mothers. He doesn't allow the desecration of sacred areas, and if an enemy slain was a noble one, he will treat their body with respect... to a degree.
The hound sometimes also commits acts of savagery, when in a sort of berserk state he fondly calls "When demon takes over" he is known to shred bodies and often sadisticly torture live victims. The wolf is also sometimes known for rape, but this only happens very very few times.
History: The hound's history is long and complicated, as would be expected.
He was born in the Norselands, somewhere between Germany and Norway. He was born to normal wolf parents, in an almost normal wolf pack. There he was a Beta, until the Southerners came...
The wolves had always had a connection with the native Norse people, strengthened by legends told be both of eachother's heroic deeds in the battles that shaped the earth early on. They were so entwined to the point of comunication. When the Southern people; the Romans, Italians, French, etc. came, they almost destroyed the Wolf population. Ame's pack had suffered this fate as well, as they made a last ditch effort to find a village of Norse people renown for their kinship with wolves.
Ame escaped, and along with three other pack brothers he wandered, until he found a samll Southerner's outpost. Normally, a wolf would stay away from that, but Ame was no longer a normal wolf...
Broken and battered, he and his pack brothers snuck into the wooden outpost at night, and began boldly to slaughter it's inhabitants in their sleep. But the soldiers on guard caught the noise, and they moved in to slay the beasts. Ame and the others fought valiantly, almost unbelievably, striking fear into these tresspassers, but as they were flesh and blood, they fell... Ame, himself, was slain that night, his left eye shot out with a musket. That scar remains today, permanently destroying his visage.
Later, the hound was revived, and for many centuries he fought, his powers grew, until the undead demon beast he now is was created...
